The project envisions two residences: a two-level home spanning the ground and first floors, and a single-floor apartment on the second. A shared staircase connects the dwellings, becoming a central point of circulation and identity for the building.
The siting of the structure was guided by orientation and its relationship with the neighboring context. With Agias Paraskevis Street to the north and a four-storey apartment block to the east and south, the design turns toward the northwest. In doing so, it secures privacy for both indoor and outdoor life while remaining open to light and views.
At its core, the building is conceived as a cubic form with a porous character. Strategic subtractions of mass on each level allow daylight to flood the interiors and establish strong visual and physical connections to the exterior. The result is an architecture that balances shelter with openness.
