The core concept of the building is the definition of the living space—both interior and exterior—between two elongated spatial elements: the two-storey volume of the house and a free-standing stone wall with openings and sculptural recesses.

The site’s main view lies to the southeast, where the swimming pool is positioned. The two-storey volume rises along the southwest edge of the plot, while the stone wall extends in a way that shields the house from northern exposure. In this configuration, the living area—and the everyday life that unfolds around it throughout both summer and winter—remains protected from direct sunlight and the prevailing northern winds.

The landscape design and planting strategy allow for continuous circulation and direct access to the outdoors from every level of the building.
